Wolf Rock is a dramatic rocky pinnacle rising from the ocean floor roughly 45 minutes by boat from Rainbow Beach, just north of the Sunshine Coast. Renowned as Australia's premier pelagic dive site, it features two large pinnacles that attract a resident aggregation of massive grey nurse sharks year-round. The sheer diversity of marine megafauna — from manta rays and eagle rays to giant trevally, barracuda, and loggerhead turtles — combined with spectacular rock formations and often exceptional visibility, makes this an unforgettable offshore dive destination. Humpback whales pass by on their annual migration between June and October.
