Wolf Rock, rising as two jagged volcanic pinnacles just 2 km off Double Island Point near Rainbow Beach, is Queensland's premier shark and ray dive site. This underwater oasis — a series of pinnacles, gutters, and gullies plunging to 38 m — sits at the edge of Fraser Island and draws megafauna from across the East Australian coast. Expect exhilarating drift dives alongside grey nurse sharks, leopard sharks, reef manta rays, and massive schools of eagle rays, all set against soft and hard coral gardens teeming with macro life.
