Wallaroo Marina, on the western side of Yorke Peninsula, is a popular coastal hub offering calm, sheltered waters perfect for snorkeling. The marina's breakwaters and jetty pilings create an artificial reef environment attracting juvenile fish, crabs, and the occasional eagle ray. Located 160 km northwest of Adelaide in the historic Copper Triangle town of Wallaroo, the site provides easy shore access with nearby amenities. Snorkelers can explore around the marina pontoons and along the sandy seabed where seagrass meadows host weedy seadragons and colorful reef fish.
