Walker's Rock Beach, part of the Lake Newland Conservation Park on the Eyre Peninsula, is a wild, west-coast stretch of sand and rock formations that offers excellent snorkelling in its clear, shallow pools. Getting in
Walker's Rock is located approximately 30 km south of Elliston on the west coast of the Eyre Peninsula. From Elliston, head south on Flinders Highway, then follow the signed turn-off to Walker's Rock Campground. The last section is unsealed; a 4WD is recommended for beach access.
Unsealed parking area at the Walker's Rock Campground, set behind the dunes. Parking is free for campers; day visitors can park in designated areas.
$20 per night per vehicle for camping. Day use is free.
