Two Ridges is a premier dive and snorkel site in the Cocos (Keeling) Islands, named for its two parallel coral ridge formations rising from a sandy seabed at 14-25 metres depth. Located a short boat ride from West Island, this site offers exceptional visibility in warm, turquoise waters. The twin ridges are draped in vibrant coral growth and attract an abundance of marine life, including sea turtles, reef sharks, eagle rays, and schools of tropical fish. It's a relatively uncrowded, pristine site that showcases the remote atoll's world-class underwater beauty.

Moderate risk: Tidal current
Strong currents can sweep through the channels between the two ridges, particularly during tide changes.
Low risk: Ocean swell
The site is accessed by boat in open ocean conditions. Swells can pick up, especially during the trade wind season, making entry and exit challenging.
