Twin Reefs features two protruding exposed sandstone reefs that form a sheltered, 500-metre-long crenulate platform beach between Inverloch and Cape Paterson on Victoria's Bass Coast. At low tide the reef platforms are exposed, revealing shallow rock pools perfect for exploring with a mask and snorkel. The lee side of the reefs offers calmer conditions ideal for beginners, while the outer edges drop into deeper water frequented by more adventurous snorkellers. This unpatrolled coastal spot is part of a stunning stretch of shoreline dotted with sea caves and rock formations.
