Situated along the southern Great Barrier Reef near Bargara, just a 15-minute drive from Bundaberg's CBD, Turtle Town is a premier snorkelling and dive spot renowned for its calm, stinger-free beaches and consistent sightings of green and loggerhead turtles. The area encompasses Barolin Rocks and adjacent reef platforms where crystalline waters reveal vibrant coral gardens and abundant marine life. Year-round accessibility and reliable conditions make it a favourite for beginners and families seeking an intimate reef experience without the long boat rides.
