Turtle Rock is a renowned snorkel and dive site in the Cocos (Keeling) Islands' turquoise lagoon, famous for its vibrant coral plates, incredible fish life, and regular turtle encounters. Named for the green turtles that frequent the area, this site features a seabed of fine horn coral with abundant marine life. Snorkellers drift over shallow coral gardens teeming with fusiliers, parrotfish, and camouflaged rockcod, while reef sharks cruise past the drop-offs. The crystal-clear waters and accessible location make it a must-visit spot in this remote Indian Ocean paradise.
