Troubridge Point Drop-Off is a premier snorkeling and dive site off the southern heel of Yorke Peninsula, where the seafloor plunges dramatically near the notorious Troubridge Shoal. Located within the Lower Yorke Peninsula Marine Park, this site sits in the lee of the Troubridge Hill Lighthouse. Snorkelers explore the drop-off where reef systems meet deeper channels, drifting over rocky ledges and seagrass meadows. The area's wild coastline and shipwreck history — over 30 wrecks lie on the nearby shoal — give this spot a raw, adventurous character. Best accessed by boat or via the clifftop path from the beach below the lighthouse, it offers clear waters and encounters with the region's iconic temperate reef marine life.
