Tracy's Bommie is a standout dive and snorkel site on Flynn Reef, part of the outer Great Barrier Reef off Cairns. Named after the classic 'bommie' (a tall, isolated coral pinnacle), this site rises from the deep sandy floor, attracting a stunning concentration of marine life. Divers and snorkellers explore dramatic coral walls, overhangs, and swim-throughs draped in soft corals. The bommie teems with resident green and hawksbill turtles, reef sharks, giant groupers, and colourful wrasse, all set against a backdrop of staghorn, plate, and table corals. One of the region's most celebrated sites for both novices and experienced reef-goers.
