Town Beach is Mandurah's lively central beach, hugging the calm sheltered waters of the Peel Inlet estuary. This sandy stretch sits right in the heart of town, with gentle shallow waters that are ideal for relaxed snorkeling. The sandy seabed transitions toward patches of seagrass and scattered limestone reef structure just offshore, where small fish and crabs can be spotted. Surf Life Saving patrols on weekends and excellent beachside facilities — including barbecues, shaded seating, a playground, and accessible matting — make this a safe, family-friendly spot. Cafés and restaurants are steps away, adding to its appeal as a convenient urban snorkeling destination.
