Toogoom Beach is a tranquil, 7 km stretch of sand on the Fraser Coast, sheltered within Hervey Bay for calm, protected waters ideal for snorkeling. At low tide, expansive sand flats and shallow gutters reveal small sandy-bottom pools teeming with marine life. The beach faces north-west, catching gentle afternoon breezes, and its low-energy shoreline makes it a safe and relaxing spot for beginner snorkelers, families, and paddleboarders looking to explore the nearshore waters.
