The Plateau is a renowned dive and snorkel site on the subtropical reefs off Mooloolaba on Queensland's Sunshine Coast. Getting in
The Plateau is located on the subtropical reefs approximately 6–8 km offshore from Mooloolaba on the Sunshine Coast. Access is by boat only, typically via chartered dive or snorkel tours departing from the Mooloolaba Wharf. The Mooloolaba boat ramp and marina are located at Parkyn Parade, Mooloolaba.
Paid and free parking available at Mooloolaba Wharf precinct, Parkyn Parade, Mooloolaba. Arrive early on weekends and during peak holiday periods.
Access to the site requires booking a boat charter. Snorkel/dive charter prices generally range from AUD $100–$180 per person depending on the operator and number of dives.
