The Pinnacles & Long Beach is a stunning 3km stretch of white sand on the Sapphire Coast, nestled within Beowa National Park between Merimbula and Eden. The beach is backed by striking 20–30m orange-red and white cliff bluffs — the centrepiece being The Pinnacles, a 65-million-year-old erosion feature of soft white sand capped with red gravel clay. At low tide, snorkellers can explore crystal-clear waters around the base of this extraordinary landform. The park's 47km of dramatic coastline offers exceptional water clarity, making this a hidden gem for those seeking uncrowded snorkelling away from patrolled beaches.
