The Oaks is a secluded 250-metre sandy beach nestled along the dramatic Bunurong Coastal Drive between Cape Paterson and Inverloch on Victoria's Bass Coast. This sheltered ocean-facing cove is carved into rugged sandstone and offers excellent shore-entry snorkeling over sandy shallows and rocky reef edges. Its exposed position can produce decent surf, while the calm conditions on mild days reveal a fascinating underwater seascape. The bush-backed beach and scenic coastal trail make it a wild, unspoiled escape for adventurous snorkelers exploring Victoria's southern coastline.
