The Knob is a prominent rocky headland on the eastern coast of the Eyre Peninsula, jutting into Spencer Gulf. Named for its distinctive rounded hummock, this sheltered spot offers calm, shallow inshore waters along sandy beaches that are ideal for easy-access snorkeling. The headland provides shelter from prevailing winds, while the adjacent beaches offer a mix of seagrass beds and sandy patches where marine life thrives. Its remote nature and proximity to coastal camping areas make it a quiet, off-the-beaten-path snorkeling destination on South Australia's scenic Eyre Peninsula coast.
