Tucked along the wild Eyre Peninsula coast, The Granites is a serene beach named for its enormous granite boulders that frame a sheltered white-sand lagoon. A wooden staircase leads down to shallow, calm waters perfect for family snorkelling. At low tide, intricate rock pools form among the granite outcrops, revealing tiny crabs, small fish, and colourful invertebrates. The protected lagoon offers clear conditions for beginners to explore the seagrass fringes, while the dramatic geological setting — part of the Westall Way Loop scenic drive — makes this a stunning stop for swimming, coastal walks, and photography.
