Nestled within the Ricketts Point Marine Sanctuary in Beaumaris, Tea House Bay is a sheltered, shallow snorkeling spot on the eastern shore of Port Phillip Bay. Its calm, protected waters and sandy entry with seagrass beds make it ideal for beginners and families. The bay sits inside the Port Phillip Marine Park (no fishing zone), offering safe conditions for exploring just metres from shore. Best visited on calm days with high visibility, the gentle slope and absence of surge make it a gentle introduction to Melbourne's underwater world.
