Stirling Bridge Rock Wall is a popular shore-dive and snorkel site in Fremantle, nestled beneath the historic Stirling Bridge along the Swan River. The rocky wall and jetty pylons are encrusted with sponges and seaweed, attracting schools of baitfish, wrasse, and the occasional rays. Calm, sheltered conditions inside the river mouth make it ideal for beginners seeking a convenient urban snorkel spot close to Fremantle's cafes and attractions.

Moderate risk: Boat traffic
Stirling Bridge is a working bridge and boats pass through the channel. Snorkelers should stay close to the rock wall and remain vigilant.
Low risk: Fishing lines and hooks
Fishing occurs from the bridge and nearby jetty. Discarded lines and hooks can pose a snag or injury risk.
Low risk: Variable visibility
The Swan River's outflow can reduce visibility, especially after heavy rain. Murky water may make navigation harder.
