Spot X is an offshore dive and snorkel site within the Cape Byron Marine Park, consisting of a cluster of four large rocks arranged like a clover near the boundary of the Byron Bay Sanctuary Zone, north of Julian Rocks. Sitting at 18-26 metres depth, this exposed open-ocean site attracts large pelagic species drawn by the convergence of tropical and temperate currents. Spot X offers a wild, advanced-level experience for those seeking big marine life encounters well off the North Coast NSW shoreline.
