Split Bommie is a shallow, bommie-studded snorkeling site at the southern end of Hastings Reef on the NSW North Coast. Named for its distinctive coral bommies that stand apart from the main reef, this spot offers crystal-clear shallows ideal for beginner snorkelers on calm days. The scattered rocky outcrops create a patchwork of coral gardens and sandy gutters, home to an abundance of tropical fish.
