Shiprock is a distinctive sandstone headland and rocky platform located at the southern end of Cronulla Beach in Sydney's Sutherland Shire. This exposed offshore rock formation creates a fascinating snorkeling terrain with ledges, gutters, and sandy patches at its base. The site offers clear water on calm days and is known as a popular shore-entry spot for those exploring the shallows along the Bate Bay coastline, where the submerged reef structure supports a variety of marine life. Best tackled on a flat, low-swell day with high visibility.
