Stretching for seven kilometres along the North Coast NSW shoreline, Seven Mile Beach at Lennox Head offers a prime snorkeling spot at its northern end — the Boat Channel off Rutherford Street. This protected channel provides calm, clear waters, ideal for safe and relaxed snorkeling. With the dramatic backdrop of coastal dunes and the nearby Rocky Point headland, the spot is sheltered from ocean swells and offers a serene, family-friendly environment to explore the shallows. The wide, sandy beach also accommodates 4WD access (permit required) and is a peaceful alternative to busier Byron Bay beaches.
