September Beach is a stunning east-facing beach at the northern end of Lincoln National Park on the Eyre Peninsula, about 13 km south-west of Port Lincoln. Its pristine white sand gives way to crystal-clear turquoise waters that are perfect for snorkelling, especially along the rocky points where sea urchins, starfish, and schools of fish hide in rock crevices. Sheltered by a hill above and dense trees, the beach offers excellent protection from westerly winds. The relaxed campground sits within 100 metres of the water, making September Beach a top pick for beachside camping and swimming.

Low risk: Onshore wind chop
When the wind blows directly onto the beach, the water can become choppy and less pleasant for snorkeling. Best snorkeled during an offshore breeze.
Low risk: Limited mobile phone coverage
Mobile phone coverage is limited throughout Lincoln National Park, making emergency communication difficult.
Low risk: Remote location
The beach is within a national park with limited services. Nearest major town (Port Lincoln) is about 13 km away via unsealed roads.
Low risk: Variable weather conditions
The Eyre Peninsula can experience strong winds and sudden storms, making the sea rough and reducing visibility for snorkelling.
