Seal Cove sits on the north side of Breaksea Island in King George Sound, 12 km south-east of Albany, and is one of Western Australia's top-rated dive and snorkel sites. The cove's main attraction is a resident colony of New Zealand fur seals and Australian sea lions — playful, curious "teenagers" that glide through the water alongside snorkelers. Beneath the surface, swim over giant rock bommies adorned with southern black corals, brittle stars, and gorgonian fans, and explore small caves filled with bullseyes and swallowtail nannygais. Sheltered from Southern Ocean currents, depths range from 2 to 18 metres.
