Sea Scouts Jetty at Brighton is a fantastic shore-entry snorkel spot along Port Phillip Bay's eastern shoreline. The jetty's wooden pylons are encrusted with colourful sponges and soft corals, creating a thriving artificial reef that attracts schools of fish, rays, and the iconic weedy seadragons in season. Sheltered from large swell by the bay, this calm, shallow site is ideal for beginners and families wanting a safe, accessible underwater adventure. The adjacent beach offers easy entry with sandy patches leading to the jetty structure.
