The Saxon Ranger is a purpose-sunk North Sea trawler resting upright in 18 metres of water within Warnbro Sound, part of the Shoalwater Islands Marine Park. Stripped and scuttled in 2002, this artificial reef now hosts an encrusted ecosystem of soft corals, sponges, and tube worms. Sheltered from ocean swell yet often carrying average visibility, the wreck offers an easy boat dive accessible via moorings a short distance from the Bent Street boat ramp and other local launch facilities. A recreational dive permit is required.
