Sandy Cape is a sheltered white-sand bay on the Turquoise Coast, within the Jurien Bay Marine Park. Calm, shallow waters and a nearby fringing reef make it an ideal beginner-friendly snorkel spot. The bay is also a known hangout for Australian sea lions, who often swim playfully near snorkellers. Towering white sand dunes back the beach, and the remote setting — accessed via a 7 km unsealed road — keeps crowds light. On calm days the water is crystal clear, offering excellent visibility over sandy-bottom seagrass beds and low reef formations.
