Sandy Beach is a sheltered, family-friendly beach on Tasmania's north-east coast, offering calm, clear waters ideal for beginner snorkelers. Its soft white sands and easy shore entry make it a relaxed spot for exploring shallow rocky reef edges just offshore. Patrolled during the warmer months, the beach is backed by coastal scrub and provides a peaceful alternative to busier nearby beaches. The bay's gentle slope and protected aspect create good conditions for spotting small reef fish and local marine life close to shore.
