The Sandon Bluff Snorkel Trail lies within Yuraygir National Park on the NSW North Coast, near the remote Sandon River campground. This undeveloped coastal trail follows the headland where offshore rocky reefs and shallow inshore gutters provide a wild, uncrowded snorkeling experience. The bluff itself forms a natural headland that shelters the waters on calmer days, offering sightings of subtropical reef fish, and during winter humpback whales pass close offshore. Accessed via the Sandon River Campground or the Yuraygir Coastal Walk, it rewards adventurous snorkelers with pristine, off-the-beaten-track ocean exploring.
