At the northern edge of Beowa National Park (formerly Ben Boyd National Park), near Eden on the NSW far south coast, Saltwater Creek delivers a wild and remote snorkeling experience. A pristine surf beach meets shallow lagoons and rocky reef terrain where clear waters offer good visibility on calm days. The dramatic coastal setting — rough‑barked apple gums framing a sweeping ocean vista — makes this a secluded gem. Swim the protected lagoons, explore the inshore rocks for marine life, or simply float in the surf zone between sets. Dolphins and migrating whales are regularly spotted offshore, and the adjacent Light to Light walking track provides stunning coastal access.
