Salt Creek Bay, just south of Edithburgh on the Yorke Peninsula, is a sheltered sandy bay known for its calm, shallow waters and excellent snorkelling conditions. The bay's seagrass meadows and rocky reef edges host an incredible diversity of marine life, including leafy sea dragons, eagle rays, Port Jackson sharks, giant cuttlefish, and colourful nudibranchs. With easy shore access and proximity to the popular Edithburgh Jetty, it's a prime spot for both beginners and experienced snorkelers exploring South Australia's southern reef ecosystems.

Getting in
Salt Creek Bay is located approximately 3 km south of Edithburgh on the Yorke Peninsula, about 230 km west of Adelaide via the A1 and B86 highways. Follow the coast road south from Edithburgh township to reach the bay.
Limited roadside parking available near the bay foreshore.
