Directions
Salmon Bay is on Rottnest Island, 19 km off the coast of Fremantle, Perth. Reach Rottnest via ferry from Fremantle, Perth (Elizabeth Quay), or Hillarys Boat Harbour. From the main settlement at Thomson Bay, it's a short bus ride (Bayline shuttle), bike ride, or a 15-minute walk southwest along the coastal path to Salmon Bay.
Parking
No private vehicle parking on Rottnest Island. Bicycle parking is available near the beach. Leave cars at the mainland ferry terminal car parks (paid parking at Fremantle, Hillarys, or Elizabeth Quay).
