Sailor's Grave is a rocky headland snorkelling spot on the eastern side of the Lakes Entrance township, at the ocean entrance where the Gippsland Lakes meet the Bass Strait. The area features rocky reef ledges, shallow rock pools, and underwater gutters that attract fish and marine life. The boardwalk around the rocks (damaged in past bushfires) provides limited access, and the site is known for its clear water on calm days, with good visibility over sandy-bottomed gutters between the rock platforms — a unique mix of lake and ocean environments in one spot.
