Round Island (Weenandin in the Butchulla language) is a serene, uninhabited sand and coral cay within the Great Sandy Marine Park, accessible by tour from Hervey Bay or Bundaberg. Surrounded by shallow, clear waters over seagrass beds and patch reefs, it offers peaceful snorkeling with a chance to encounter turtles, rays, and small reef fish in a protected marine park setting away from the crowds.
