Sheltered along the southern shore of Guichen Bay, Robe Town Beach at Mundy Terrace is a calm, family-friendly stretch of white sand perfect for a relaxed snorkel. Protected from the Southern Ocean swell by the bay's natural curve, the shallow nearshore waters offer good visibility on calm days. The beach sits right at the edge of historic Robe township, making it an easy walk from cafés and the Robe Jetty. Its gentle gradient and lack of strong surf make it ideal for wading out to explore sand patches and seagrass beds close to shore.

Low risk: Wind chop and reduced visibility
Southerly winds can whip up chop on Guichen Bay, stirring sand and reducing underwater visibility, especially in the afternoon.
Low risk: Boat traffic near jetty
The adjacent Robe Jetty sees recreational fishing boats and small vessel traffic; stay clear of the jetty channel.
Low risk: Bluebottle jellyfish
Bluebottles (Portuguese Man o' War) can drift into Guichen Bay during warm northerly winds, typically summer months (November to March).
