Port Neilly Beach (also known as Carrow Beach) is a secluded white-sand stretch on the Eyre Peninsula, roughly 3 km south of the small coastal town of Port Neill. Backed by low dunes and fringed by crystal-clear waters, this beach offers excellent shore-entry snorkeling over sandy seafloor with scattered reef patches. The adjacent Carrow Wells campground makes it a popular base for beachside camping, swimming, surfing, and exploring the pristine Southern Spencer Gulf marine environment.

Moderate risk: Rip currents
Unpredictable rip currents can form along the beach, especially after swell periods. Swim between flags where present and assess conditions before entering.
Low risk: Changing tides
Tidal movements can affect water depth over reef patches and create unexpected currents near the shoreline.
