Port Gibbon Beach is a secluded, windswept stretch of sand on South Australia's Eyre Peninsula, offering calm, sheltered inshore waters perfect for a peaceful snorkel. The remnant of the old jetty forms a small shelter and artificial reef where small fish gather, while the surrounding dunes frame a wild coastline. This quiet beachside camping oasis provides direct shore access to the Spencer Gulf — expect clear but cool temperate waters, and keep an eye out for curious Australian sea lions that occasionally visit the shallows. Port Gibbon's remote character means you'll often have the bay to yourself.
