Port Beach is a gentle 1 km crescent of soft white sand in North Fremantle, with stunning views across the Indian Ocean to Rottnest Island. Sheltered from large swells, its calm, clear waters make it one of Perth's most reliable shore-entry snorkelling spots. A dedicated snorkelling area sits between the patrolled swimming flags, while the adjacent café and enclosed playground add to the family-friendly appeal. The sandy seabed gradually deepens — ideal for beginners — and subtle reefs near the northern end attract small fish and occasional rays.
