Point Peron marks the southern end of Jurien Bay's sheltered coastline, where a shallow limestone reef system meets sandy seagrass beds inside the protected Jurien Bay Marine Park. This entry point offers easy access to calm, turquoise waters that are home to vibrant coral bommies, schools of tropical fish, and the famous friendly sea lions that frequent the nearby islands. The reef shelves gently, making it ideal for drifting over colourful sponge gardens and exploring the underwater interpretive trail that starts from the old jetty site. Crystal-clear visibility on calm days reveals a surprising abundance of marine life just metres from shore.
