Petal Point is a remote, windswept campground and coastal snorkeling spot on Tasmania's far-northeast coast, sitting high on an escarpment overlooking Bass Strait near Cape Portland. The rocky shoreline and shallow inshore waters offer clear conditions on calm days, with access to sandy patches and reef habitat. Its isolation and wild exposure to Bass Strait swells make it a rugged, off-the-beaten-path destination for adventurous snorkelers seeking solitude and pristine surroundings in the Boobyalla Conservation Area.
