Parker Point (north end) sits on the Burrup Peninsula in the Dampier Archipelago, a rugged coastline where ancient red rock meets turquoise Indian Ocean waters. This north-facing shore offers access to a shallow reef system rich with hard and soft corals, tropical fish, rays, and turtles. Part of the UNESCO-listed Murujuga National Park area, the site is known for its clear waters and sheltered conditions, making it an excellent spot for shore-entry snorkeling with minimal swell. The underwater terrain transitions from sandy patches near the shore to dense coral bommies further out.

Low risk: Boat traffic
Recreational boats operate in the Dampier Archipelago. Snorkelers should display a dive flag and remain visible near the shore.
Low risk: Sharp coral and rock
The reef has dense coral bommies and rocky shoreline entries. Protective footwear recommended to avoid cuts from coral and rocks.
