North Haven Netted Tidal Pool is a calm, netted swimming and snorkeling enclosure set into the Camden Haven River at the eastern edge of North Haven, NSW. Sheltered from ocean swell and strong currents, the netted perimeter keeps the pool safe for kids and beginners while still allowing tidal exchange with the river. Surrounded by parkland at Ostler Park with picnic benches and river views, it offers a relaxed, family-friendly spot to float, snorkel, and explore the shallows without venturing into open water.

Low risk: Tidal fluctuation
The pool is tidal — water level and clarity vary with the tide. Low tide can leave the pool very shallow.
Low risk: Stingers / jellyfish
Stingers and jellyfish may occasionally enter the netted area, especially in warmer months.
Low risk: Slippery surfaces
Slippery rocks and algae on the bottom and entry steps.
