The North Haven Breakwall juts into the Camden Haven Inlet where the river meets the sea, offering a protected snorkeling environment with calm, clear waters on the inside of the rock wall. This structure creates a sheltered channel teeming with fish, rays, and occasional turtles, while the outer edge drops into deeper water where dolphins and pelicans hunt. Located on the Mid North Coast NSW, it's a unique estuary-meets-ocean snorkel spot where the breakwall's boulders provide a haven for marine life to hide and thrive.

Moderate risk: Changing Tides and Currents
Strong tidal flows through the Camden Haven Inlet can create unexpected currents, especially during outgoing tides near the breakwall's seaward end.
Moderate risk: Boat Traffic
The Camden Haven Inlet is used by recreational boats, kayaks, and fishing vessels entering and exiting the river mouth. Stay aware of vessel movements.
Low risk: Slippery Rocks
The breakwall's boulders are often coated with algae and can be very slippery when wet, requiring care when entering or exiting the water.
