Naturaliste Terrace sits along the stunning Cape Naturaliste coastline near Dunsborough, where granite headlands meet turquoise Indian Ocean waters. This shore-accessible snorkeling spot offers clear, protected conditions during the summer months (November–February), with a seabed of limestone reef and seagrass patches that shelter an array of temperate marine life. Part of the renowned Cape to Cape Track region, the site provides calm, beginner-friendly snorkeling when conditions are right, with easy access from the Dunsborough township. The area is also a prime vantage point for migrating humpback whales passing through from September to November.

Getting in
Naturaliste Terrace is located in Dunsborough WA, a short drive from the town centre. Follow Cape Naturaliste Road towards the lighthouse and turn onto Naturaliste Terrace. The site is accessible from the road reserve near the coastal limestone cliffs.
Limited roadside parking available along Naturaliste Terrace. No designated car park.
