The spot

Community-maintained

Community contribution: submitted by Daniel

Narooma's Bar Beach South (the main snorkeling section of Narooma Beach) is a naturally enclosed, protected cove sheltered by large sea walls, making it one of the safest beaches along the Eurobodalla coastline for learning to snorkel. The gentle, shallow waters are ideal for families and beginners, with juvenile fish, squid, and jellyfish commonly spotted. Located adjacent to Apex Park, it offers easy access from the car park and a short stroll across sand to the water.
