MOUA (Museum of Underwater Art) at John Brewer Reef is a breathtaking underwater gallery featuring world-renowned sculptures by Jason deCaires Taylor, including the Guinness World Record-holding Coral Greenhouse and the ethereal Ocean Sentinels. Set on the Great Barrier Reef off Townsville, this unique snorkeling destination blends art with marine science. Snorkelers explore shallow (4–6m) zones around the sculptures, which double as artificial reefs attracting vibrant coral and fish life. The site sits in a protected part of the reef, offering calm, clear waters ideal for all experience levels. A must-see fusion of culture and nature.
