Moorlands Beach is a 2.1 km stretch of sand and cobble on Tasmania's north coast, guarded by the low reef-tied Moorland Point. The intertidal reef platforms at the eastern end harbour rock pools, sponge gardens and bryozoan growth, best explored at mid-to-high tide. This quiet, exposed beach offers a true cold-water Tasmanian snorkel experience with good visibility on calm days, far from the crowds.
