Moffat Headland, on Caloundra's southern coast, shelters extensive fringing reef systems including Dicky's Reef, making it a top shore-dive snorkel spot on the Sunshine Coast. Well-protected from southerly swell and winds, this headland offers expansive, shallow reef gardens to explore on calm days. The adjacent Moffat Beach connects to Shelly Beach via a scenic coastal pathway, and the area is popular for its relaxed vibe, excellent water clarity when conditions align, and easy accessibility from shore.
