Mills Beach is a secluded white-sand beach on the eastern coast of the Eyre Peninsula, roughly 20 minutes south of Cowell. Sheltered by a low rocky headland, the calm, clear shallows are perfect for a relaxed shore-entry snorkel over sandy seafloor dotted with seagrass meadows. The pristine setting — golden dunes meeting turquoise Spencer Gulf waters — offers a genuinely wild South Australian snorkeling experience, with the chance to spot sea lions in the deeper channels offshore.
